The most important thing you must do for a good shoot is to assemble a great team. That's not even 50 - it's 90 percent of success. Even if you only have a week for pre-production, if you don't have enough time for location scouting or organization - if you have the right team, you'll do everything professionally.

What does it mean to have the right team? It's not only professional skills - first of all it's the working atmosphere that you as a producer have to create and the people in the team will be ready to support it. And then a 15-hour shift will seem like a short blink of an eye, which you didn't even notice as it flew by.
