Left: printed straight from vacuum packaging. Right: dried 12h at 70°C. Result:
• Stringing vs clean geometry.
• Rough vs smooth surface.
• Unstable vs consistent extrusion.
Conclusion: drying is not optional for PA6-CF materials.

Quick, repeatable camera calibration – custom 3D-printed target
Simple dual-pillar “quick calib” target for machine-vision workstations and robot cells. The geometry uses high-contrast concentric rings at two heights to give cameras clean edges and depth cues, speeding up hand-eye calibration and pose checks.
It works for:
• Industrial FDM in HtPA-CF25 (PA6 + 25% carbon fiber): stiff, heat-resistant, matte surface = low glare.
• Laser-marked ID for traceability.
• Central bores allow dowel pins/fixtures for repeatable mounting.
