The STEM Power Centre proudly conducted Robotics and Electronics Sessions for Year 1 and Year 2 students for both Degree and Diploma programs within the Faculty of Information Communication Technology from the 14th April 2026 to 04th May 2026.
The sessions provided students with exciting hands-on experience in robotics, embedded systems, and practical electronics through interactive STEM activities and real-world technology projects. Students successfully designed and programmed projects such as Servo Motor Control, Temperature Alarm Systems, SOS Beacons, and Basic Alarm Systems using Arduino technology and electronic components.
These practical sessions enhanced students’ problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and programming skills while exposing them to modern technological applications used in automation, smart systems, and internet of things (IoT) environments.
The STEM Lab continues to play a vital role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical innovation, empowering students with industry-relevant skills for the future.
A big thank you to all students, facilitators, and class representatives for their active participation and commitment towards advancing STEM education and innovation.

Innovation in STEM Education!
The STEM Power Centre at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology extends its heartfelt appreciation to our esteemed visitor, Mrs. Amelia Motsitsi from the National Curriculum Development Centre Lesotho, for taking the time to visit our STEM Lab. It was truly an honor to host you and share our passion for transforming education.
During the visit, our STEM Coordinator proudly showcased how the STEM Lab is making a meaningful impact on the teaching and learning of Biology for Grade 8 and Grade 9 students. By embracing a “learn by doing” approach, we are helping students move beyond theory into real understanding through interactive, hands-on experiences.
Through engaging simulations and practical activities including diffusion and osmosis, energy forms and change, photosynthesis, and human body systems. we demonstrated how technology can simplify complex concepts, spark curiosity, and make Biology both exciting and accessible.
This visit reaffirms the importance of collaboration in advancing education. Together, we can continue to innovate, empower young minds, and nature the next generation of scientists and problem-solvers.
At the STEM Power Centre, we believe that” inside every child is a scientist” ready to explore, discover, and innovate.
