Rotary Club of Mantsopa to launch winter donation drive

The Rotary Club of Mantsopa will host its annual "Keep a Child Warm Project" on Saturday at St Cecelia Orphanage in Ha Buasono.

The initiative aims to provide warmth, comfort and hope to children at the orphanage through collecting essential winter items such as blankets, shoes, beanies, jackets, jumpers, warm clothing, socks and scarves.

The club says the campaign is also intended to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and supporting vulnerable children, especially during the cold winter months.

Through the project, the Rotary Club of Mantsopa hopes to unite the community in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children by showing kindness, compassion and care.

Medicines available again at CHAL health facilities

Government and the Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL) have announced the restoration of medicine supplies at all CHAL health facilities following the renewal of a long-term agreement between the two parties.
Under the renewed agreement, CHAL facilities will receive medicines and other essential medical supplies from the Ministry of Health in the same manner as government health institutions, improving access to healthcare services nationwide.
The public has been advised to use their nearest CHAL health facility, as essential medicines are now available.
