🗳️ Empowering Democracy: 4-Day BRIDGE Training Wraps Up! 🗳️

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our 4-day BRIDGE training on Political Financing and Party Funds, which officially wrapped up at the end of last week!

This vital initiative was made possible through the generous support and partnership of the European Union in Lesotho (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), representing a major step forward in our shared commitment to strengthening democratic governance.

The dedication to our electoral processes was on full display with an incredible turnout: 36 out of the 42 registered political parties participated, joining forces alongside dedicated representatives from CSOs, the media, and other vital stakeholders to discuss transparency, accountability, and resource management.

The workshop was officially closed by UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, Dr. Taye Amssalu, and the Chairman of the IEC Lesotho, Rev. Dr. John Maphephe. Both leaders underscored the critical importance of transparent political funding as the foundation for public trust and fair elections.

To cap off an intensive four days of learning and collaboration, Dr. Taye Amssalu and Rev. Dr. John Maphephe proudly handed over official certificates to all our amazing participants.
