The organization manages multiple grants from international partners and maintains high standards of financial accountability and compliance.

Position Summary
SM&D is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Project Accountant to support the financial management of multiple donor-funded projects. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and audit-ready records.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain financial records and cashbooks
* Perform reconciliations
* Process payments and manage petty cash
* Ensure multi-donor cost allocation compliance
* Apply modified cash basis reporting
* Support audits and maintain documentation

Minimum Requirements
* Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance
* 3–5 years’ experience
* Experience with donor-funded projects
* Knowledge of multi-donor cost allocation and modified cash basis.

Added Advantage
* ACCA qualification.
* External audit experience.
