We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed. Together, we raised 5,785 NOK, and every single contribution means a lot to us.

The funds will be used, among other things, to register LibRise as a voluntary organization in Liberia as well. This is an important step for us. It ensures that everything is done properly on the ground and makes it easier to collaborate locally and carry out our work in the right way.

We are now moving forward with applying for funding to open the activity and creative center in Monrovia.

I Liberia er over halvparten av befolkningen under 25 år.
Mange unge vokser opp uten trygge steder å være etter skolen.

Uten aktiviteter, veiledning og muligheter mister mange troen på framtiden sin – ikke fordi de mangler talent, men fordi de mangler rom.

Et ungdomssenter er mer enn et bygg.
Det er et trygt sted å lære, skape, drømme og føle tilhørighet.

Med LibRise ønsker vi å gi ungdom i Monrovia et rom for musikk, dans, kreativitet og digitale ferdigheter – et sted vi selv skulle ønske vi hadde da vi var unge.

Empowering youth through creativity

We are building a safe creative space for youth in Monrovia, Liberia. LibRise is a non-profit organization working to empower young people through creativity, learning and community.

We are currently fundraising to establish a creative youth center in Monrovia, where girls and boys can develop skills in music, dance, digital content creation, design and basic computer skills.

In a context where many young people face unemployment, limited access to education and few safe spaces for self-expression, we believe creativity can open doors — to confidence, opportunity and hope.

This page will share our journey, our vision and our progress as we work together with local partners and supporters to turn this project into reality. Together, we can create lasting opportunities for youth.
