Not Everything Can Be Bought, The Truth Is Stubborn!

On the 28th of September 2021, Honorable Edward Papay Flomo had an interview with Front Page Africa where he said so many ghost and unrealistic developments were done by him without government supports (budget for the district) and he further said that companies in the district were fully corresponding to their Corporate Social Responsibility as made by-law. Hon Edward Papay Flomo said that the Management of CEMENCO, Sethi Brothers Inc., Ever Bright Sand Mining Company and Britone National Paint Industry are business institutions that have been fully corporating to their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) wherein, each pay $16,000 USD annually.

From 2021 that Mr. Flomo made the above statement to present, Mr. Flomo has collected CSR from the abovementioned companies including newly formed companies in the district the like of a new fishery company located at the Kanga Island, Topoe village, the company that swept almost the entire community land, and yet; Mr. Flomo has made no statement or district report to the people of electoral district 13, montserrado county, republic of Liberia that shows Mr. Flomo is lacking the reasonable mindsets of accountability and transperancy.

On July 12, 2024, Mr. Flomo shamelessly took to his official page about a petty-cash donation that was made to the district soccer team that couldn't even sustained their camp for a month and they ended-up dropping many necessities that a good soccer team should have.

As per our current rate which is at 200, one of the above companies CSR in Liberian dollar is $3,200,000.LD (Three Million, Two hundred thousands Liberian dollars) but in last year, Mr. Flomo shamelessly donated $500,000 LD to our soccer team. They were forced to use said money to purchase boots, jerseys, food, and other necessary materials to enable them as a soccer team.

Mr. Flomo has never taken a peanut from his generator or entertainment money that is pay by the government least to talk about his salary to do anything in our district and now, he is umable to show sportmanship to his soccer team as a chief patron of sports in electoral district 13, montserrado county, republic of Liberia.

Our soccer team will be playing today in the following:

1. Old jerseys that having tailoring issue.
2. Players are responsible to get their own boots, socks, and shenga.
3. No footballs for their camp.
4. No food, no water among others.

As a player, after handling all the abovemetioned challenges, you can never be encourage to play for such a district team in next exhibition. You rather play for a district like District 2, 7, 14, 17, among others in Montserrado county, republic of Liberia because; there are relentless supports of sportmanship to those districts.

Mr. Flomo continues to show us how corrupt, inept, barbaric, and unrealistic he is to our people of electoral district 13, montserrado county, republic of Liberia.
