CHILDREN MINISTRY LESSON
Topic: The Crucifixion of Jesus

By Minister Wokie Johnson Mendee & Sister Betina
Resurrection Outreach Ministries GSA Road - Liberia Mission,
City of refuge church

Bible Text:
Matthew 27:27-56
Mark 15:21-39
Luke 23:33-46
John 19:16-30
Memory Verse:
John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Introduction

The crucifixion of Jesus is one of the most important events in the Bible. Jesus, the Son of God, willingly died on the cross to save us from our sins. Even though He was innocent, He suffered because of His great love for mankind.

The Story of the Crucifixion
Jesus was arrested and taken before the rulers. Although He had done nothing wrong, the people demanded that He be crucified.

The soldiers mocked Jesus, placed a crown of thorns on His head, and led Him to a place called Calvary (Golgotha). There they nailed Him to a wooden cross.
While hanging on the cross, Jesus prayed for those who hurt Him and said:

Luke 23:34 – "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

After several hours, Jesus gave up His spirit and died. The earth shook, and the curtain in the temple was torn into two. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving that He had power over sin and death.
Why Did Jesus Die?

To save us from our sins – Romans 5:8.
To show God's love for us – John 3:16.
To bring us closer to God – 1 Peter 3:18.
To give us eternal life – John 10:28.
Lessons for Children

Jesus loves us very much.
We should be thankful for His sacrifice.
We should forgive others just as Jesus forgave.
We should obey God and follow Jesus.
We should trust Jesus as our Savior.

Discussion Questions
Why was Jesus crucified?
What did Jesus say while on the cross?
How does the crucifixion show God's love?
What can we learn from Jesus' forgiveness?

Conclusion
Jesus died on the cross because He loves us. Through His death and resurrection, we receive forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life. Let us love, obey, and follow Jesus every day.

Closing Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for our sins. Thank You for loving us so much. Help us to obey You, forgive others, and follow You every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God bless the children as they learn about the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

MY UNSTOPPABLE BLESSINGS

Preached By:

Minister Marcus Flomo Thinker's City Branch Christ Resurrection Outreach Ministries, Liberia Mission

Main Texts:
Genesis 49:25-26
Genesis 27:25-29
Hebrews 6:14-15

Introduction
Blessings are God's divine favor, provision, protection, promotion, and empowerment upon the lives of His children. When God decides to bless a person, no force on earth, no enemy, no witchcraft, no setback, and no opposition can stop that blessing.

An unstoppable blessing is a blessing that continues to flow despite challenges, delays, opposition, or difficult circumstances. God's blessings are not dependent on human approval but on His covenant and promises.

1. God's Blessings Come from His Unlimited Power
Genesis 49:25 says:
"By the God of your father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under..."
Jacob declared that Joseph would receive blessings from the Almighty God. These blessings came from heaven above and the deep beneath. This teaches us that God has unlimited resources and unlimited ways of blessing His people.

When God blesses you:
Doors will open unexpectedly.
Favor will locate you.
Your needs will be supplied.
Your enemies cannot stop God's plan.

2. Unstoppable Blessings Break Every Limitation
Genesis 49:26 says:
"The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors..."
The blessing upon Joseph exceeded previous generations. God is able to take His children beyond family limitations, generational struggles, poverty, and failure.

Through Christ:
You can rise above family setbacks.
You can achieve greater things than previous generations.
You can become a testimony of God's grace.

3. The Blessing of God Produces Dominion
Genesis 27:28-29
Isaac blessed Jacob saying:
"Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee..."
The blessing of God brings:
Influence
Increase
Authority
Success
Favor
God desires His children to be leaders and examples in society. Divine blessings position believers for impact and greatness.

4. God's Promise of Blessing Never Fails
Hebrews 6:14
"Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee."
God made this promise to Abraham and fulfilled it completely. Every promise God makes is backed by His integrity and power.
When God says He will bless you:
He will do it.
He will establish it.
He will bring it to pass.
His promises are Yes and Amen.

5. Patience Is Required for the Manifestation of Blessings
Hebrews 6:15
"And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise."

Abraham did not receive everything immediately. He waited in faith and obedience.
Lessons from Abraham:

Trust God's timing.
Remain faithful during delays.
Continue praying.
Never give up.

The blessing may be delayed, but it cannot be denied when God has spoken.

Characteristics of Unstoppable Blessings
They are ordained by God.
They overcome opposition.
They bring increase and multiplication.
They extend to future generations.
They produce testimonies and breakthroughs.
They glorify God.

Conclusion
The God who blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph is still blessing His people today. Every believer who walks in faith, obedience, and patience can experience unstoppable blessings. No weapon formed against God's purpose for your life shall prosper. What God has spoken concerning you shall surely come to pass.

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your covenant blessings upon my life. Every power fighting my progress is defeated. Let every promise You have spoken concerning me come to fulfillment. Open doors that no man can shut and release unstoppable blessings upon my family, ministry, career, and destiny. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Key Declaration:
"My blessings are unstoppable because they come from God Almighty. I shall increase, multiply, prosper, and fulfill my divine destiny in Jesus' name." Amen.

Liberia Vice president Jeremiah Koung Launches, Breaks Ground for US$12.7 Million Tappita Vocational Training Institute Project

‎In a move to expand technical and vocational education in Nimba County and strengthen Liberia's skilled workforce, Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung has officially launched and broken ground for the US$12.7 million Tappita Vocational Training Institute (TVTI) project.

‎Speaking at the ceremony in Tappita, Vice President Koung underscored the critical role of technical and vocational education in addressing the country's shortage of skilled workers, particularly in the mining, agriculture, health, and construction sectors.

‎The Vice President noted that many companies operating in Liberia are forced to hire foreign technicians due to the lack of qualified local personnel and urged young people to seize the opportunities the institution will provide.

‎To support the project, VP Koung donated 1,000 bags of cement for the campus construction and pledged to pay the enrollment fees of the first 100 students who register.

‎Also speaking, TVTI President Dr. Yah Donlah Gonway Gono described the project as a historic milestone for Tappita, Nimba County, and Liberia. She said the institution was established to bridge the gap between education and employment by equipping young people with practical skills needed in the job market.

‎Dr. Gono further stressed that technical and vocational education remains a key driver of economic growth, job creation, and national development.

‎Meanwhile, Nimba County District #6 Representative Dorwohn Twain Gleekia hailed the initiative as a major step toward expanding educational opportunities for young people.

‎He said the project was conceived to provide an alternative path to education in Lower Nimba and to advance the vision of making the region a center of quality learning. He also praised local and diaspora supporters for helping transform the vision into reality.

‎In a show of support, the leadership of the Tappita Administrative District presented a deed for 50 acres of land for the construction of the proposed US$12.7 million TVTI campus project.

‎The institute is expected to play a vital role in developing a skilled workforce, creating opportunities for young people, and contributing to Liberia's long-term economic growth and development.

Protecting Children from Harmful Content on Social Media in Liberia.

I am writing to express my concern about the increasing exposure of children in Liberia to inappropriate content on social media platforms, including sexual activity and n**e images. Such content poses serious risks to their mental and emotional well-being and undermines their safety online.

I respectfully urge the Government of Liberia to consider implementing strict regulations or bans on the sharing and distribution of any content containing sexual activity or nudity on social media within the country.

These measures are crucial to create a safer digital environment for our children and to help parents and educators protect the younger generation from harmful influences.Thank you for your attention to this important matter. I hope that together we can build a safer online space for all children in Liberia.
