This week, Center for Integrated Solutions (CIS) joined the Ministry of Education’s EMIS and Planning teams for a high-level training on the Revised 2025/2026 Annual School Census (ASC) Tool.
As a core technical partner, CIS is the "Technical Force" responsible for validating data entry and maintaining the EMIS data warehouse. Our mission is clear: Solve the challenge of poor data quality by moving information from "scattered" to "meaningful."
Our Impact: By ensuring every record from participating schools principals and DEOs is accurate, verified, and validated, we empower the MoE to make evidence-based decisions for every student in Liberia.
From national data systems to the classroom—CIS is driving the digital shift.

Today marks an important milestone for education and human capital development in Liberia with the official launch of the Excellence in Learning in Liberia (EXCEL) Project by the Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Education.
The EXCEL Project is designed to strengthen the education sector through four strategic pillars:
1. Improving foundational learning outcomes for all learners
2. Expanding equitable access to quality education
3. Strengthening systems to effectively deliver foundational learning
4. Enhancing project management and technical assistance
Through our Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education, CIS is partnering with government to provide targeted technical assistance in priority areas aligned with national education goals. We look forward to deepening this collaboration and refining our technical assistance approach to support effective implementation of EXCEL and the achievement of its intended outcomes.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to evidence-informed practice, institutional strengthening, and sustainable improvements in learning across Liberia.
