Dr. Maox Luma, Executive Director of Partners In Health Liberia, sees it differently. He stated, “I refuse to believe those people died of TB; they died of injustice.” This sentiment underscores the urgent need for concrete action.

Over the past three years, our partnership has led to a staggering 76.6% increase in new patient enrollments, reaching those in need of mental health support. From young people grappling with addiction to individuals confronting severe illnesses, we’re ensuring no one is left behind.

Our commitment to mental health extends to addressing conditions such as epilepsy, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, with marked increases in cases treated in just two years.
