"EMPOWER HER PROJECT

We're excited to highlight the successful completion of the 3-month practical training for disabled women under the Empower Her Project!

Led by the 2nd Lady of Liberia, Synleseh Stephenie Dahn-Koung, in partnership with LOIC, and supported by Plan International and World Hope International.

Trainees learned valuable skills in:
- Soap Science
- Catering/Pastry

The training took place at LOIC's main campus in New Matadi Estate, Sinkor.

Hear from some of the women:
"The training helped me to be self-employed and reduced my reliance on begging"
"I'm grateful for this empowerment"

"This training saved my life! Without it, I would've been dead from a bike or car accident while begging on the streets. I'm deeply grateful to the 2nd lady for the empowerment and to our patient trainer from LOIC in the Catering department.

The goal of the training is to Empower disabled women for a more sustainable future.

EMPOWERING WOMEN

As we are still in Women’s Month, LOIC salutes the power, boldness, strength, and courage of women everywhere!

A woman can do what a man can do, and even more! We appreciate the incredible women who are breaking barriers and thriving in male-dominated fields like electricity, plumbing, and more.

We’re proud to support and uplift women in every area of life.
