A man alleged to be an employee from the Office of the Vice President was spotted at the St. Paul Bridge area reportedly appealing to authorities for the release of a suspect. The suspect, whom he described as a close friend, had allegedly been apprehended for possession of drugs.

FPA VIDEO: B**G: Early Friday morning, one of the newly commissioned NTA buses transporting students broke down in front of the Gbarnga Administration Building, where President Joseph Boakai is attending a two-day National Assembly of Chiefs and Tribal Governors.

Students, who had suspended classes Friday to welcome the President, were asked to help push the bus in an attempt to restart it. It took at least 45 minutes before the bus finally started.
