WARNING TO IMPERSONATORS AND THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY

It has come to my attention on numerous occasions that certain individuals, some of whom are not employees of the Ministry of Labour, have been impersonating as me, Darius K. Weamie, Deputy Inspector General of the Ministry of Labour, Republic of Liberia, while approaching business entities and establishments.

Please be advised that I do not authorize any individual to conduct inspections, investigations, verifications, or collect money on my behalf. Any person found using my name or position to gain access to businesses, solicit favors, demand payments, or conduct unauthorized activities is acting illegally and should be reported immediately to the Ministry of Labour and the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

I further encourage all employers and business owners to verify the identity and authority of any individual claiming to be a Ministry of Labour official before granting access to their premises or providing any information.

The Ministry of Labour remains committed to transparency, professionalism, and the enforcement of Liberia's labour laws through authorized and legitimate channels only.

Residents of Samukai Town in District #11 Cry for Help

By Larwah Josephus Boayou arwahjosephusb@gmail

Samuyka Town, Monrovia Liberia, May 31,2026- Residents of Samukai Town, located in Electoral District #11, are appealing to the Government of Liberia and relevant authorities to intervene in what they describe as prolonged hardship and poor road connectivity affecting their community.

According to several community members, the condition of the roads has made transportation extremely difficult, hindering the movement of people and goods. Residents say the deteriorated road network continues to impact their daily lives and economic activities.

Some residents disclosed that they have repeatedly raised their concerns with their lawmaker, Speaker Richard N. Koon, but claim that little progress has been made in addressing the challenges.

They expressed frustration over the poor state of the roads, noting that traveling within and outside the community has become increasingly difficult.

The residents are now calling on the government and local authorities to take urgent action to rehabilitate the roads and improve living conditions in the area.
