Omo, this one na story for the books! 😅
So picture this, Mr. Borbor Koryon, Head-Secretariat of the WAICA Conference 2026, stumbles across my page and decides, "I need this guy on the design team." Next thing, talks done, agreement signed, and I'm fully in. What didn't I know? This project was about to test every nerve in my creative body. 😭
We planned. We strategized. We executed. But the closer we got to the conference date, the more complex everything became. Tension was in the air like WiFi everywhere and unavoidable. 😂 Working last-minute on a major conference project is NOT for the faint-hearted.
The ICA-Liberia conference room became our second home. Hosts and partners were feeding us well two-course meals, snacks, a full package, but Borbor wasn't smiling. We closed late every night, ran to a nearby restaurant to hit our daily targets, and one night? We straight-up slept in the conference room because Oga said nobody goes home until the work is done. 😂💀
Massive shoutout to Joseph Travis, one of the most talented and creative designers in the Liberian industry. We held it down together from start to finish, alongside other incredible designers who made this possible.
Fast forward, the magazine came out beautifully. Coordinated and designed by Dee Graphix, printed to a quality that spoke for itself. Every sleepless night was worth it. 🙌🏾

Look closer. 🥄
What looks like a letter is also a spoon. What reads as elegance also reads as hospitality. That's the whole idea two things, one mark, no compromise.
Silver Spoon Restaurant is the flagship dining experience of Sinkor Palace, and this visual identity had one purpose: take a phrase loaded with privilege "born with a silver spoon" and turn it into an open door. A brand that feels elevated without ever making you feel like you don't belong.
The emblem anchors it all. A script letterform that flows seamlessly into a spoon, sealed within a circle that carries quiet authority. From the mark to the typography, the color system to every touchpoint nothing is decorative. Everything is deliberate. That's what a visual identity system does when it's working the way it should.
This one meant something to build. 🖤

The theme “UNEXPECTED BREAKTHROUGH” points to something powerful: the kind of transformation that happens suddenly… and leaves no room for doubt.
In John 9:8–9, a man who had been blind was healed, and the change was so real that people started questioning it:
“Is this not the one who used to sit and beg?”
Some said, “It’s him.” Others weren’t sure.
But he simply said, “I am he.”
That moment stuck with me when change is so undeniable that people can’t ignore it, even if they don’t fully understand it.
So every part of this design was built around that idea.
The light burst captures that sudden move when everything shifts at once.
The bold, broken typography reflects disruption, not a smooth transition, but a breakthrough.
The sculptural head represents the identity of who you were versus who you’ve become.
The raised hands show surrender, the space where change happens.
And the portrait at the base grounds it all in a real person because breakthrough isn’t abstract, it’s lived.
Even the colors carry weight:
Warm tones for intensity,
high contrast for clarity,
and texture to keep it real because breakthrough isn’t always neat, but it’s always powerful.
This wasn’t just about designing a flyer.
It was about making the message feel before it’s even read.
