I BEAT ADDICTION AND MADE IT BACK TO THE PITCH!

There was a time when I thought my story was over. I was lost in addiction broken, confused, and far from the person I once was. The pitch that once brought me joy became a distant memory, and football felt like a dream I could never touch again.

But by the grace of God, and with the support of people who believed in me, I chose to fight. I chose recovery. I chose life.

It wasn’t easy. There were dark days, setbacks, and times when giving up felt easier than pressing on. But I held on. I reminded myself that my life had meaning that I was born for more than drugs and destruction.

Today, I’m proud to say I’m back. Back on the field. Back doing what I love. Back living with purpose.

Football is more than a game for me it’s healing. It’s hope. And every time I lace up my boots and step onto that grass, I carry the message that recovery is possible.

To anyone struggling out there: don’t give up. You are not alone. If I can come out of that dark place, so can you.

This is just the beginning. I’m not just playing football again I’m playing for a cause. I’m playing to inspire, to uplift, and to show others that change is possible.

Let’s continue this fight together. Say no to drugs. Say yes to life.
