The Motorcyclists and Tricyclists in Liberia wish you His Excellency and the people of Liberia many more years to come in good health and prosperity.

As 2023 fast approaching, we the Motorcyclists and Tricyclists in Liberia say, we will ride for people but we will never fight for people.

Together, let's stop the stealing of our Motorbikes!!!

As way of addressing the stealing of motorbikes by criminals from Motorcyclists and Tricyclists across Liberia, which is largely due to bikes not being properly identified, all motorbike and kekeh riders, owners and the general public are hereby informed that the ministry of transport in collaboration with the LNP and NAFOMTAL will commence the national plates registration and enforcement from the 5th of September 2022 to the 5th of October 2022.

The Plating and national identification process of motorbikes is aimed at addressing the following:

1. To properly identified all motorbikes and kekeh across Liberia through plate numbers and ministry of transport registration certificate which will make it difficult for criminals to steal our bikes or to sell it

2. To properly identified all motorbikes which will ensure security and enable the public to easily identify fleeing motorbike in case of wrong doing

3. To put we the motorbike riders on par with other responsible or law abiding road users in Liberia

Note:

Those that will refuse to be plated or identified will be presumed to have criminal intent.

Therefore, all motorbike and kekeh riders and owners are hereby asked to comply with the plate registration and enforcement process in order to save yourself from all forms of embarrassment.
