So, goodbye 2025…

2025… A whole year in one place.
A year spent in loneliness.
A time when I was only able to pour my feelings into pencils and paper,
while listening to criticism, accusations, and curses.
Each of these drawings is the result of a painful story that only I know...
a story I never told anyone, and never will.
With the beautiful memories of all the drawings I completed in 2025,
I sincerely wish that 2026 will be a kind year to everyone.

ඉතින් අවසරයි 2025…

2025… පුරා අවුරුද්දක් එකම එක තැනක…
පාලුවෙන් ගෙවුණු අවුරුද්දක්…
බැනුම්, චෝදනා, ශාප අසමින්
පැන්සල් සහ කඩදාසි වලට හැඟීම් පොවන්නට පමණක්
හිත සවිමත් වුණු කාලයක්…
මේ සෑම සිතුවමක්ම
මා කිසිවෙකුට නොකියූ,
කිසිවෙකුට නොකියන,
මා පමණක් දන්නා දුක්බර කතාවක ප්‍රතිඵලයක්.
2025 වසරේ මා නිම කළ සියලූම සිතුවම්වල
සුන්දර මතකයන් සමඟ
2026 වසර සියලූම දෙනාට
කාරුණික වසරක් වේවායි
හදවතින්ම ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමි.

letting go can feel like the kinder choice.

Pain doesn’t disappear all at once...
it fades slowly.
And even if you can’t forget the memories,
you don’t have to fight them.
You can make peace with them.

One day, remembering won’t hurt the same way.
That’s when you realize letting go wasn’t giving up...
it was choosing not to turn bitter.

If you’re standing there right now,
between what was and what must move on,
be gentle with yourself.

Some goodbyes are soft.
And sometimes, they’re what finally set us free.
