By starting her own business, Renuka, a differently abled woman has proven that she can do whatever she sets her mind to in spite of her physical limitations.

Women that have disabilities and diseases are often faced with financial hardship due to the high cost of medical care. This can make starting a business more challenging, even with great ideas.

Our very own Renuka's entrepreneurial spirit emerged and she hopes to solve different problems by manufacturing maternal and children's clothing. This social enterprise of Renuka hopes to empower women in the Ali Agaraya, Nawagaththegama area of the Puttalam District.

50 pieces of baby dresses made with love are available for delivery and many more to come. Buying a garment from Senehasa you're not only helping a social enterprise but also providing employment opportunities to rural women.
