QUARANTINE MAINTENANCE TIPS

Some simple steps to properly maintain your vehicle, follow the bellow tips

1. Check for any Corrosion in the Battery Terminals.
A corroded battery terminal causes problems in engine start due to lack of contact and power loss. You may remove the corrosion with a wire brush or any durable cleaning brush. Before cleaning, make sure to wear gloves and that the battery is disconnected.

2. Check Inside Engine Bay.
Check the engine bay first for any presence of guests such as pests and animals. Also inspect any loose or exposed wirings that may have been chewed by them.

3. Start Your Engine to Charge the Battery.
Long storage of vehicle may cause lose power in your battery. A way to charge it to its full capacity is by starting the engine to engage the alternator for at least 30 minutes. You may do this weekly minimum two or three times.

4. Move your Vehicle in Short Distances.
You also have to loosen the brakes and some fluids. If you can, drive your vehicle a few meters from the garage or parking space to circulate the fluids, belts and bearings, avoiding build-up or parts getting stuck. If parked from a leveled ground, you may disengage your hand brake.
