Tragic stories of abuse often go unseen and unheard, leaving victims to suffer in silence. Visible signs like bruises can serve as cries for help – if only we observe and offer the right support to encourage them to speak out.

This powerful print campaign, inspired by Isuru Aberatne and crafted by Tehani Walpola for the Janashakthi Group (JXG) and Janashakthi Foundation, acts as an eye opener to everyone on ‘Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women'.

Shoutout to our Mangoes and Popkorn Kernels: Andrew Gotukola Ebell, Sagar Hiranand, Lihini Welagedara, Stuart Deckker and Wasih for bringing this idea to life. A special shoutout to Gamika De Silva, Sashi Schaffter and Vinuri Perera at JXG for their unwavering belief in the idea, doing what every agency hopes for (zero changes) and executing this in such a quick time.

Gratitude also goes to Women In Need, CCC Line Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka Sumithrayo for allowing us to include their contact details and providing victims with crucial support channels.

This campaign is a simple reminder that change starts with awareness and compassion. Together, we can make a difference.

It doesn't happen often but it did this time around at the Dragons of Asia Awards 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where we hatched 3 of these fiery dragons for 2 of our best campaigns of the year. Huge congratulations to the team for helping us get this win. Here’s to conquering and hatching even more in the future 🐉✨
