World Animal Day is an international day of action for animal rights and welfare celebrated annually on October 4. This day is a global moment to recognise animals as sentient beings who deserve lives free from cruelty and suffering.
As a responsible tour organizing entity, this resonates with us in a wide scale. Treating animals with compassion and respect reflects our values as a society. We believe that animals have intrinsic value and their wellbeing is important to the whole world. We stand firm on our philosophy that they deserve to be treated ethically, regardless of their utility to humans.
Sri Lanka boasts a vast variety of animals, on land as well as in the ocean. The island has a number of interesting endemic species, and it also plays a resting ground to a variety of migratory species. This fact alone makes Sri Lanka a wonderful destination where holidaying can be much so more than just a sunny beach vacation!
We celebrate this beautiful day with our own furry friends we have in our homes. Each day is a blessed day, when you have a wet snout sniffing up all the love you have to give.
