අලුත් අවුරුද්දට පළමු වතාවට සිද්ධස්ථානයට හෝ පන්සලට යාම,

Many Japanese go to a shrine or a temple on new year, and wish a wonderful year.
අලුත් අවුරුද්ද සුභ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් බවට පත් කර ගැනීම සඳහා සුබ පැතීමට ජපන් ජාතිකයන් බහුලව සිද්ධස්ථානයට හෝ පන්සලට යාම සිදුකරනවා,

When they go to hatsumoode, they often draw an fortune slip. Generally, if it was good one, they bring it to their home. If it was bad one, they tied it to a branch of a tree.（It depends on shrines or temples )
