This prestigious award was presented by Green Destinations, in affiliation with the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The award was handed over by Ms. Lisa Wanstall, the Deputy High Commissioner for Britain in Sri Lanka, in a ceremony that celebrated leadership in sustainable travel.
