Throwback: Go Solar Inspirational Workshop 2025 ⚡

Knowledge is the best tool a Scout can carry. In early 2025, the Zahira Rovers organized an "Go Solar" workshop conducted by Hansith Perera.
This session at the College Hostel sparked new ideas on how we can integrate green energy into our scouting projects and daily lives. Looking back at these sessions helps us stay inspired for the year ahead!

FROM THE ARCHIVES: Wheels & Wilderness 🌿

Throwing it back to May 2025! Our crew took a break from the usual meeting rooms and headed to Bellanwila Park for a day of nature exploration and cycling.

There’s nothing like a evening cycle ride and a nature walk to remind us of our duty to the environment. This meeting wasn't just about agendas, it was about brotherhood and breathing in the fresh air.

Congratulations to Mr. M. Irshad Razak on his appointment as Assistant District Commissioner – Scout of the Sri Lanka Scout Association – Colombo District Branch.

In line with the new structure introduced at National level, a dedicated portfolio for the Scout Section has been established. Colombo Scouts is proud to entrust this important role to Mr. Irshad Razak, a proven and capable leader whose experience and commitment will further strengthen the Scout Section.

Wishing him all the very best as he takes on this new responsibility in service to Scouting.

At the ADC Rovers Meeting organized by the sri lanka scout association, Zahira Rover Crew was recognized for its continuous progress and active contributions. Rover Scout Hijaz represented the crew during the proceedings.

An evening of unity, reflection and scouting spirit and a proud moment 🌙✨

Zahira Rovers , together with the Leaders’ Council of the 11th Colombo Scout Group , hosted a blessed Iftar on 21st February 2026 at Zahira College.

We were honoured to welcome our Chief Guest, Mr. Lasantha Manoj Nanayakkare (Attorney-at-Law), Chief Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association.

Our Iftar gathering was featured prominently in Colombo Times, with the event highlighted in their headline. A moment of honour for the 11th Colombo Scout Group.
