The SLIIT Castlefest Chess Selections 2025 will be held on October 9th (Thursday) from 8.00 AM โ 3.00 PM.

The top 8 players (Menโs & Womenโs) from this selection will compete against the current top 8 players (from January Selections and Finals).

The Finals will take place on October 12th (Sunday) from 8.00 AM โ 3.00 PM.

Venue (both days): SLIIT Main Building, 2nd Floor, Study Area.

Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- (to be collected from all selection participants).

We are excited to announce that Pevinya Peiris, a dedicated student of SLIIT represented Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Blitz Chess Championship 2024 held in Waskaduwa. Competing against elite players across the globe , Pevinya displayed remarkable perseverance and skills throughout the tournament.
