Is there any place in Sri Lanka more magical than the Galle Fort ramparts at twilight? 🏰🌊
​Most people leave right after the sun sets, but if you stay just 10 minutes longer, you get this—the "Blue Hour" over the Indian Ocean. No crowds, just the sound of the waves hitting the old stone walls and this deep indigo sky.
​I’ve heard people say the Fort is better at sunrise when it’s empty, but I think this view is unbeatable.
