The Ocean University of Sri Lanka has launched the country's first degree program focused on Maritime Transportation and Logistics meeting the increasing need for skilled professionals in the maritime industry.

This degree program aims to provide students with the crucial knowledge, hands on skills and professional mindset needed to make the most of limited resources in the maritime and logistics industry. It enables graduates to propel the industry forward with solutions that are innovative, effective and efficient.

The curriculum has been carefully developed in consultation with senior academics and industry experts, preparing students to take leadership roles in key areas such as :
