It began nearly two centuries ago. The Hills Are Not Silent is a contemporary performance created and performed by children from the Kaley community. The performance explores themes of labour, identity, displacement, womanhood, and resistance, inviting audiences to reflect on history, humanity, and the universal right to belong. At its heart, this performance reminds us: no community is voiceless, no history is insignificant, and no child should inherit silence.
