🚨 FFSL warns clubs as Super League kick-off is revised.

The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) has officially postponed the start of the Super League 2025/26 after receiving requests from 5 of the 10 participating clubs, who sought additional time to complete their preparations.

Following discussions with the clubs, FFSL has granted a final extension, with the league now set to kick off on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at Sugathadasa Stadium. The full fixture list will be released soon.

⚠️ Key Decision:
Any club that is not fully prepared and unable to participate by the revised kick-off date (11 July 2026) may forfeit its place in the competition, subject to FFSL competition regulations.

This extension is described as the final opportunity for clubs to complete their preparations before the season begins.

The release of the much-anticipated Super League fixture schedule has been postponed due to unexpected circumstances.

The updated fixture list is expected to be announced shortly, with the competition now anticipated to kick off on 11 July.
