Sri Lanka’s scenic Up-Country train journey is back on track.

Train services on the Nanu Oya–Badulla section will resume from 20 June 2026, allowing travelers to once again experience one of the world's most breathtaking railway journeys through the hill country.

Please note that maintenance work is still ongoing between Rambukkana and Nanu Oya, and train schedules may be subject to railway operations and weather conditions.
