Would you choose a Sri Lankan breakfast or a European spread — both cooked by our incredible chef?

This morning it was tropical fruit, fresh juices, warm breads, spices… and a visit from the local monkey family who clearly felt entitled to the toast.

Island mornings hit differently

I’ve just come back from Lanzarote feeling unexpectedly inspired by the island.

The light, the volcanic landscape, the colours, the quiet — it feels like a place that changes how you see.

I’m considering using it as a future location for The Creative Journey retreat — a few days centred around noticing, colour, environment, making, and slowing down.

Before I go any further, I’d love to gauge interest.

Would anyone feel drawn to spending a few days on this arty, atmospheric island, exploring creativity in a very gentle, immersive way?

These first retreats would be small, beta versions at mates rates while I refine the experience.
