A truth that was quite apparent but now more spoken of

The gorgeous view at Galle Face Hotel after a whole day of wedding planning and Coordinating at 1AM 💫

Sometimes, our lives as an event planner doesn't mean its hunky dory. It means late nights or no sleep. It means having to do all the lugging of loads of luggage which needs to be there at every single place during the day (even without service staff) or having people bail out or glitches which we smoothen and balance out as we go through the day.

It also means we don't get to have a break. We are on our feet and we definitely reach our targeted steps for the day (a positive always) but there are many glimpses of hope through the day: from seeing the couple getting excited, to seeing the little ones getting ready, to the parents who have these beautiful emotional moments in church during the blessing to seeing them all being able to come together as family 💛

It's an honour and privilege to be a part of something that's so intimate and absolutely a lot for a big day and that's what makes me happy - that however long the day even if its been 24-36 hours, the memories have been made for a lifetime. ✨️
