Wendell, with his loyal following, quickly established himself as a well-reputed DJ, contributing significantly to the club’s success despite being there for only a few years. Dhanushka, who played in the late 90s, left a lasting impression with his innovative mixes and energetic performances. His ability to read the crowd and elevate the club’s atmosphere made every night memorable. Both DJs contributed to the club’s success in their own distinct ways. Pradeep was at the Blue Elephant from 2003 to 2005 and was beloved for his excellent music selection. He worked closely with Harith and Naushad, committing his best to enhancing the club’s quality and fostering a sense of family. Naushad joined the club alongside Kapila, dedicating his efforts to elevating its performance, particularly through the KNH project during his time at the Blue Elephant. He is now one of our main in-house DJs at Hilton Colombo, continuing to entertain crowds with his signature style!

Starting at the Blue Elephant Discotheque in 1987, Kapila Mohotti quickly rose to become the key DJ by 1989. He managed the club until its closure in 2004, producing music through the KNH project and leaving a lasting mark on the scene. Today, as Hilton Colombo’s Director of Food and Beverage, he’s in charge of all entertainment and F&B events. Ready to revisit the elegance of the Blue Elephant era?
