With CLS by their side, the unstoppable University of Sri Jayewardenepura Women’s Tennis Team made history at SLUG 2025, securing the championship for the 4th consecutive year. Led by none other than our very own Rashmi Niyangoda, who first lifted this title as Vice-Captain in 2024 and now as Captain, the team dominated their matches with flawless 3–0 wins over the University of Moratuwa in the semi finals and overpowering the University of Colombo with the same 3-0 win in the finals
The Men’s Team also fought with pride, claiming a hard-earned 3rd place at the historic Queen’s Court. Together, their victories helped USJP rise as the Overall Champions of SLUG 2025—a moment we’ll remember for years to come.
