In partnership with the Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management at SLIIT (CAHM), affiliated with the William Angliss Institute of Australia, Jetwing Travels officially launched its Certificate Course in Inbound Travel and Tourism.

Designed to bridge academic learning with real industry exposure, the programme brings together future tourism professionals and experienced industry practitioners in a collaborative learning environment focused on the evolving needs of global travel.

Covering key areas including Eco Wildlife and Adventure Tourism, MICE and Events, Experiential Travel, Sustainability and Digital Marketing, the initiative reflects a growing industry focus on building future ready talent with practical insight and operational capability.

As tourism continues to evolve, initiatives such as this play an important role in strengthening expertise, encouraging innovation and shaping the next generation of tourism professionals in Sri Lanka.

Jetwing Travels is looking for passionate Chauffeur Guides who can bring Sri Lanka’s wildlife and landscapes to life for international visitors. If you enjoy the outdoors and take pride in guiding memorable journeys, we would like to hear from you.

A valid Chauffeur Guide Licence will be an advantage.

Last week, across Jetwing Travels, we came together in celebration of International Women’s Day under the theme Give to Gain. The days unfolded with meaningful moments, beginning with an inspiring message by Ms Shiromal Cooray, followed by a wellness session led by Dr Rupika Fonseka, gently guiding us towards mindfulness, self-care and balance.

The following day continued with an important conversation led by Dr Duminda Rajapaksha, raising awareness on some of the most common cancers affecting women and reminding us of the value of understanding our own wellbeing.

Because while we celebrate this day together, the intention goes beyond it.

At Jetwing Travels, this is something we continue to carry forward, through how we care, support and uplift one another every day.
