“We should not play one-off Tests with anyone.”

Angelo Mathews has criticised proposals to continue one-off Tests in the World Test Championship, saying all Test nations must be treated equally.

“You can’t have one team playing 20 games and another playing 10 games in the same championship cycle,” he said.

Senior Prof. Nalin Abeysekera, a renowned marketing professional and former Dean of the Open University of Sri Lanka, has passed away.

He was also an illustrious old boy of Ananda College and served as an Executive Committee member of its Old Boys’ Association.
