The Executive Committee of the Colombo High Court Lawyers' Association has formally communicated its concerns regarding the proposed extension of the retirement age for Superior Court Judges to the President of Sri Lanka.

Through four decades at the Bar, Mr. Kalinga Indatissa, President's Counsel, has not only argued cases, he has shaped careers, sharpened minds, and stirred in every young lawyer who has had the privilege of watching him, the belief that the law, practised with honour, can be a noble calling.

His journey is a reminder that true greatness at the Bar is not measured by the briefs one holds, but by the standards one keeps and by the spirit of professionalism and dedication one leaves behind in others.
