What makes you a great fit?

▪️Mandatory Expertise: Deep understanding of Sri Lanka Labour Law (Shop & Office Employees Act, Wages Board Ordinance).
▪️Tax & Compliance: Solid experience in APIT calculations, tax tables, EPF/ETF, and statutory deductions.
▪️Experience: 2-3 years in HR, Payroll, or HR Tech (HRIS experience is a major plus).
▪️Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple client accounts independently..

Your Role at Better HR:

▪️Guide clients on HR & Payroll best practices within the Better HR system.
▪️Support onboarding, implementation, and training for assigned accounts.
▪️Ensure payroll calculations align with Sri Lankan statutory requirements.
▪️Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve client issues promptly.

Due to an unexpected issue involving DNS resolution and internet routing across multiple service providers, Better HR is carrying out an immediate infrastructure migration to protect service stability and ensure reliable operations.

🕓 Scheduled Downtime
Today, from approximately 4:30 PM (Vietnam Time) until midnight
During this period, all Better HR services will be temporarily unavailable. This will be a complete service blackout while the migration is completed.

Migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

As part of this process, our core systems are being migrated to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This upgrade will significantly improve system performance, reliability, and payroll processing speed. As a reference:
• Payroll for ~3,000 employees completes in around 30 seconds
• Payroll for most companies with 100–500 employees completes in under 5 seconds

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, particularly as this occurs during the payroll period. Our team is working continuously to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
