Uninterrupted since 1893, the 130th Royal-Wesley 1st XI encounter played for the Sir Frank Gunasekera Shield got underway today at Reid Avenue. A series filled with a great legacy, traditionally played in March but advanced to December as both Royal College and Wesley College are playing this encounter under the Two Day tournament. Here's wishing both Captains and their teams a great game!
