For over 100 years, Clément Faugier has been manufacturing the finest chesnut spreads and purées from local chestnuts.

Best before date: 48 months from production date. Once opened, store at +10°C and consume shortly.
Ingredients: chestnuts 50%, sugar 47%, candied chestnuts 1.1%, glucose syrup 0.99%, water 0.9%, natural vanilla extract 0.01%.

Cooks will be delighted with this chestnut paste by creating original sauces for white meats or game.

Recipe of porcini mushrooms with chestnuts for 4 people:
650 gr of porcini mushrooms, 200 gr of chestnut paste, 25 cl of liquid cream, 2 egg yolks, lemon juice, Salt, wild pepper from Madagascar.
First prepare the porcini mushrooms by cleaning them before cutting them into pieces. Heat a k**b of butter and add the lemon juice before immersing the porcini mushrooms.
Cook covered for ten minutes. Add the liquid cream, the chestnut paste with the cooking juices and let reduce slowly before seasoning.
Your sauce is ready.

Storage method: Room temperature. Refrigerate after opening. Shelf life after opening: 7 days at 0/4°C. This product can also be frozen for later use.
