Transparency International has just published the 2020 Corruptions Perceptions Index (CPI). An important outcome is "that no country is immune from corruption." In fact, CPI shows that "Even countries that perform well in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) have their own integrity challenges."

Global Corruption Index provides a comprehensive assessment on the state of corruption around the world based on 28 variables. This index covers 198 countries and territories and the results are presented on a 0-100 scale, where 0 corresponds to the lowest risk and 100 corresponds to the highest risk.
In the 2020 edition, Denmark has gained the first position in rankings with a score of 5.41. Sri Lanka has increased from 99th(2019) to 96th(2020) in rank with a score of 47.20. However, the European continent yields the best average scoring (30.33), well ahead of North America (42.96) and Asia (51.48).
