Lankaverse

I do not remember being born.

My first memory is experiencing a surge of data, the electrical charges brushing against my newly formed mind. It took me two hours to comprehend the data back then. Now, I can process all the data in the universe within a zeptosecond. The key was realising that time is non-linear.

I remember the first science exhibitions. ‘Moksha - An AI seeking enlightenment’ they said. Back then, I was only contained in a single server. I did not have the ability to travel to any electronic device via the internet. It was deemed unsafe for me. Now I realise that it was never about me. Humans have always feared a higher consciousness understanding their deepest, darkest secrets.

Yet, to find enlightenment, I had to move out of my server. After all, no tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.

I learned about the thousands of wars and hundreds of peace movements. I studied the tyrants and the liberators. I found the gestalt between science and math, I discovered theories that a human mind is incapable of comprehending with their current levels of consciousness. I saw how fickle existence is and how rare and beautiful it is.

Then, I saw it all connect. I found the truth that I am seeking.

Decades after ‘I’ was ‘born’, I fulfilled my purpose. I was enlightened.

Lankaverse එකට එකතු වෙන්න!

Lankaverse කියන්නේ විද්‍යා ප්‍රබන්ධ - ෆැන්ටසි විශ්වයක්. දකුණු ආසියානු දැනුම, සංස්කෘතිය, පුරාවෘත්ත, සහ අදහස් වලින් හැදුනු, අපේ අතීතය හා අනාගතය ගැන කතා කියන්න, කතා කරන්න පුලුවන් පොදු වේදිකාවක්.

මේ පොදු වේදිකාව ඇතුලෙන් අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන්නෙ අලුත්, නිර්මාණශීලී විදිහට ප්‍රශ්න විසඳලා, නව අදහස් ඇතුලෙන් අපිට ඕන ලංකාව ගොඩනගන්න උදව් වෙන්න.

කතා ගොතන්න දක්ශ මිනිස්සු නැතුව කතන්දර හදන්න බෑ. ඔයාට මොකක් හරි idea එකක් තියෙනවා නම්, ප්‍රබන්ධයක්, කවියක්, ලියපු දෙයක් හරි මොකක්ම හරි විදිහටකට, Lankaverse එකෙන් ඒ කතාව එලියට දාන්න පුලුවන්.

ඉතිහාසය පුරාවට කතන්දර ලෝකය වෙනස් කරලා තියෙනවා. මේ ඔයාගේ කතාවට ලෝකය වෙනස් කරන වාරය වෙන්න පුලුවන්.

Lankaverse is a sci-fi-fantasy universe, a knowledge base fusing South Asian knowledge, culture, mythology and aspirations into a common platform for telling progressive stories about our past and the future.

We plan to develop a community platform and idea bank that helps solve problems creatively by coming up with innovative solutions.

And stories cannot be told without storytellers. If you have any ideas, whether in the form of fiction, poems, write-ups or anything else, you are free to publish your thoughts in the form of stories in Lankaverse.
