Our Director and Founder of ALTEC, Mrs. Shemaine Patterson, recently visited Penguin Random House in London for an official meeting to discuss the highly anticipated ALTEC Reading Festivals 2026.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to review plans for this year’s festivals, exchange ideas, and discuss exciting future collaborations aimed at promoting public speaking, and a lifelong love of reading among young learners.
With preparations now well underway, ALTEC and Penguin Random House look forward to another successful year of inspiring students across Sri Lanka through the Reading Festivals 2026. We are excited to continue strengthening this valued partnership and creating meaningful opportunities for young readers to develop their confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
