𝗶𝗢𝗦 𝟭𝟳 ගැන 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 නොකී දේ

පසුගිය පස් වැනි දා පැවති WWDC main keynote එකේදි iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS 14 සහ නවතම visionOS එක පිළිබඳව ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමක් කරා නමුත් ඇපල් විසින් ඉදිරිපත් නොකරන ලද iOS17 හි ඇති තවත් විශේෂාංග කිහිපයක් සම්බන්ධවයි මේ ලිපිය.

1. Share AirTag
Apple AirTag එක පස් දෙනෙකුට නොඅඩු පිරිසක් අතර දැන් share කරගන්න පුලුවන්. Find My හරහා මේ විදියට Location Track කරන්න සහ share කරන්න පුලුවන්.

2. Lock private browsing on Safari
මේ feature එක හරහා දැන් safari වල private browsing සෙෂන් එක lock කරන්න පුළුවන් default මේ setting එක off වෙලා තිබුනත්, Setting → Safari හරහා On කර ගන්න පුළුවන්

3. Autofill verification code from email
සමහර වෙබ් සයිට් වල verification කෝඩ් එක SMS විදියට නැතුව ඊමේල් එකට එන අවස්ථා ගොඩක් වෙලාවට තියෙනවා. මේ feature එකෙන් automatically email code එක pick කරලා අදාළ form එක fill කරන option එකක් දීලා තියෙනවා.

4. Profiles in safari
Google chrome වගේ web browser දකින්න තියන මේ feature එක දැන් safari iOS17 එකේ වගේම macOS එකෙත් බලාගන්න පුලුවන්.

5. Airdrop over internet
හිතන්න ටිකක් ලොකු file එකක් AirDrop කර කර ඉන්න වෙලාවක හදිසියේ යන්න වෙනවා නම් වෙනදා ඒක හරි ප්‍රශ්නයක් වෙනවා, ඔයාගේ ෆයිල් එක අදාල කෙනාට transfer කරගන්න බැරි වෙන නිසා. හැබැයි දැන් AirDrop Internet හරහා වැඩ කරනවා.

6. Share location in Message
දැන් message app එක හරහා third-party apps මොකුත් නැතුව ලේසියෙන්ම අනිත් කෙනාට Location එක share කරන්න පුළුවන්

7. Visual Lookup
දැන් අපේ තියෙන photo එකක අදාල subject එක select කරලා ඒක web search කරන්න පුළුවන් ඒ වගේම ෆොටෝ එකක විතරක් නෙමෙයි වීඩියෝ එකක frame එකක වුණත් තියෙන දේවල් මේ විදියට visual lookup කරන්න පුළුවන්. ටිකක් විතර google lense වලට සමානයි

8. System-wide NSFW
Not safe for work standards වලට අදාල content දැන් මුළු system එකේ යම් තැනක තිබුනොත් ඒ වගේ content blur කරලා prompt කරනවා තවදුරටත් බලන්න අවශ්‍ය ද කියලා.

9. Video Call Reaction [Gesture reaction 12 and above]
ගොඩක් Meetings වල ඉන්න අයට මේක ප්‍රයෝජනවත් වෙයි. මොකද දැන් gestures use කරලා reactions send කරන්න පුලුවන්.

10. Enhance Lockdown mode
කලින් safety feature එකක් විදියට පාවිච්චි කරපු lockdown mode එක මේ වතාවෙ තවදුරටත් enhance කරලා තියෙනවා ඒකෙන් අනිත් devices එකවරlockdown කරන්න පුළුවන්කම තිබෙනවා

මීට අමතරව Apple විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලැබූ Call acontact, NameDrop, Message updates, Keyboard enhancement, Live stickers, new Check in features, Stanby mode වැනි විශාල Features ප්‍රමාණයක් ඔබට පහසුවෙන් සොයාගැනීමට හැකියි. මෙහිදී මා ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත්තේ Keynote හිදී නොකියවුණ සහ මා විසින් Xcode හා iPhone 14 pro simulator එකක් හරහා පරීක්ෂා කරන ලද Feature කිහිපයකුයි. පලමු සංස්කරණය බැවින් Battery Life සහ අනෙකුත් Bugs ඇතිවිය හැකි බැවින් ඔබගේ Primary device එකට Install කිරීමෙන් හැකිනම් වලකින්න.

එකවර ජංගම දුරකතන කිහිපයක එකම WhatsApp ගිණුම භාවිතා කිරීමේ පහසුකම නුදුරේදීම

Meta සමාගම විසින් එකම WhatsApp ගිණුම ජංගම දුරකතන කිහිපයක එකවර භාවිතා කිරීමේ පහසුකමක් හඳුන්වාදී තිබෙනවා.

මීට පෙර එකම WhatsApp ගිණුම භාවිතා කළ හැකි වූයේ web.whatsapp.com වෙබ් අඩවියෙන් හා WhatsApp Desktop යන මෘදුකාංග ඔස්සේ ය. එහිදී මීට පෙර ඔබට ජංගම දුරකතනයට හා පරිගණයකයට සෑම මොහොතකම අන්තර්ජාල සබදතාව අවශ්‍ය වූ අතර ඊට පසුව නිකුත් වූ Multi Device පහසුකම යටතේ ඔබගේ ජංගම දුරකතනය නොමැතිව වුවත් දින 14ක පමණ කාලයක් ඔබට WhatsApp Web Version එක භාවිතා කළ හැකි වනවා.

මේ වන විට මේ පහසුකම සියලුම Android Beta පරිශීලකයන් සඳහා නිකුත් කර තිබෙන අතර නුදුරේදීම සාමාන්‍ය පරිශීලකයන් සඳහා ද මේ පහසුකම නිකුත් කිරීමට Meta සමාගම කටයුතු කරමින් සිටිනවා.

Revolutionary Google feature to find lost phones even when powered off - is it too good to be true?

Google is working on a new feature for Find My Device that will help locate your missing phone even when powered off. Yes, you heard it right! This feature may be called "Pixel Power-off Finder" and will require Bluetooth to be enabled at all times. But wait, there's more! Google has been working on this for over a year and is reportedly building a network of Android devices allowing users to locate their lost phones using more than 3 billion devices globally, similar to Apple's network.

Google has shared the early source code of Android 14 with OEMs enrolled in the Early Access Program (EAP) and has included a new Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) definition called "hardware. Google. Bluetooth.power_off_finder." The functionality is similar to iPhones, where pre-computed Finger Network keys are sent to the device's Bluetooth chip, which will be kept on even when the phone is off.

It's still being determined whether existing Android devices can support this feature or if it will only be available on future devices. However, Google has already rolled out a "Store recent location" toggle for Find My Device, which allows sharing the phone's last location with Google. So, if you're worried about losing your phone, Google has your back!

Google has not yet announced a release date for this new feature, but it may be revealed at the upcoming Google I/O event.
