We are thrilled to invite you to join us at the 2023 Rainbow Art Festival, the first intersectional LGBTQIA+ Pride and artist capacity building ever to be held in Batticaloa. The event will celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, and connect the community to art, nature and healing.

The 2023 Rainbow Art Festival will be held on Sunday 10 September 2023, starting with a lake cleaning at Lake Park. It will be followed by a day of events from 9AM at the American Mission in Batticaloa, including a workshop and discussion on LGBTQIA+ arts followed by performances by performers from our community.

Please kindly invite friends and allies to join by forwarding this email and the attached flyers in invitation.

On the day, please come dressed in q***r outfits, and anything rainbow/pride-themed in support. You are very welcome to bring any artwork you have created.

We hope to make the 2023 Rainbow Art Festival an inclusive, safe and welcoming space and are really looking forward to your presence there!
