Well now, do you believe that you're the best designer in the south? Well bring it! As part of our carnival launch we will be allowing 5 designers to showcase their creative and artistic clothing lines.

All designers who wish to participate are asked to submit their designs at an interview this Saturday May 7th between 11:00am and 2:00pm to Mr Bary Hunte at the Vieux Fort Primary School, Beanfield, Vieux Fort. The best designer will have the carnival queen contestants model their creations at the launch on May 14th.

To also wild things up at the launch, we're also going to have a karaoke competition. So bring your tenor, soprano and baritone voices to see will become the Voice of the South! Registration for competition $2.00EC per person on the day of the launch Saturday 14th May from 4:00pm.

Yes there's more! The bands will be portraying in full their costumes for Vieux Fort carnival 2016 on stage where you'll have a choice to select where you'll jump and have good clean fun! Come see how we begin Raising The Bar.

Now you feel you're the best dance group between Dennery and Soufriere? You think you're the kings and queens of the South in dance? Well put your talent where your mouths are and get your shoes on the stage. There is only room for one champion and if you dare take this on you will be crowned the Champion of Dance of the South. There's no other place but at the top! Register your dance group $20.00EC or solo $10.00EC on Saturday May 7th between 11:00am and 2:00pm at the Vieux Fort Primary School. The finals will be held at the Queen of the South Carnival Pageant.
