We are thrilled to announce that Dar has been selected by the Tanzanian Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Sports to provide design review and supervision of construction services for the new state-of-the-art Samia Suluhu Hassan Stadium in Arusha, Tanzania.

Covering 14.57 hectares, this iconic 30,000-seat football stadium is inspired by Tanzanite gemstones and Mount Kilimanjaro, reflecting Tanzania’s cultural and natural heritage and adhering to international standards, including CAF and FIFA regulations. Construction is expected to be completed by 2026 in time for Tanzania to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
As Tanzania continues its preparations for AFCON 2027, Dar is honoured to support local stakeholders in developing such a premier venue in Arusha. A critical step in strengthening the country’s sports infrastructure, the stadium is also expected to boost tourism, attracting visitors eager to experience Tanzania’s passion for sports and its world-class hospitality.

The first facility of its kind in Jordan, the Amman Smart City Centre is a key component of an ambitious vision set by the Greater Amman Municipality to transform Amman into a leading smart city.

Designed by Dar, the state-of-the-art LEED-Silver control centre features everything from a Tier-4 data centre and an artificial intelligence hub to awe-inspiring architectural designs. Once complete, it is envisioned to serve as the central hub for elevating the performance of Amman’s city operations, integrating smart city technologies, and coordinating incident response.

The landmark project paves the way for nationwide smart city advancements, positioning Jordan as a leader in connectivity, innovation, and sustainable urban development.
