With the high success that TikTok has accomplished in 2020, Instagram brings a new competing feature, "Reels". Very similar to TikTok, Reels are displayed in a vertical feed, they can be made by anyone, and they are tailored for each user. While TikTok's videos can reach the length of 1 minute, Reels have a maximum length of 30 seconds. It is also not as extensive as TikTok in terms of audio that users can add to their videos, and Reels effects are only limited to the effects available on Instagram Stories, as opposed to TikTok's effects which are usually the center of TikTok trends.
It seems however that Reels are gaining popularity quickly, and if you like TikTok, you will definitely enjoy Instagram Reels.
