It takes a lot of thought and effort to make sure diabetes doesn't get in the way of a child's education. We want to make sure every school has the knowledge and support to provide good diabetes care in schools and prevent it if possible.

We want every child with diabetes to feel confident and safe at school.

This lecture was organized and conducted by Head of School Health Program at MCHB to help raise awareness for diabetes diagnosis and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to treat and prevent this medical condition. This event was covered for 2 different class levels and took place at Khadija Al Kobra Makassed School.

‎يتطلب الأمر الكثير من التفكير والجهد للتأكد من أن مرض السكري لا يعيق تعليم الطفل. فسعينا للتأكد من أن كل مدرسة لديها المعرفة والدعم لتقديم رعاية جيدة لمرض السكري في المدارس والوقاية منه إن أمكن.

‎نريد أن يشعر كل طفل يعاني من السكري بالثقة والأمان في المدرسة.

‎تم تنظيم هذه المحاضرة وإدارتها من قبل مسؤولة برنامج الصحة المدرسية التابعة للمكتب الصحي المقاصدي و سعت للمساعدة في زيادة الوعي بتشخيص مرض السكري وأهمية تبني أسلوب حياة صحي لعلاج هذه الحالة الطبية والوقاية منها. تمت تغطية هذا الحدث على مستويين مختلفين من الصفوف وتم عقده في مدرسة خديجة الكبرى المقاصد

Under 16 days of activism, in partnership with UNFPA and MCHB funded by government of Canada, a second activity entitled “متكاملين لأنو مختلفين". Appreciating and believing in the biological, intellectual and psychological difference between men and women leads to complementarity and equivalence in order to contribute in building a happy family.

‎ضمن ال 16 يوما من النشاط ضد العنف القائم على النوع
‎الاجتماعي، نفذ المكتب الصحي المقاصدي بالشراكة مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان وبتمويل من حكومة كندا جلسة ثانية للنشاط.

‎تركزت المناقشة على أهمية تفهم وتقبل الاختلاف البيولوجي, الفكري والنفسي بين الرجل والمرأة مما يؤدي إلى التكامل في ما بينهم و المساهمة في بناء أسرة سعيدة.

Ongoing with the activities of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in partnership with UNFPA, our certified social worker presented for around 150 beneficiaries, psychosocial sessions to raise awareness about different topics related to active listening, acceptance, and the freedom of expression. These topics were demonstrated by the “Wheel of Life” and targeted the concepts of early marriage, sexual education, and role of parents.

استمرارا لأنشطة 16 يوما من النشاط ضد العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي بالشراكة مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان ، قدمت أخصائيتنا الاجتماعية لحوالي 150 مستفيدا جلسات نفسية اجتماعية لزيادة الوعي حول مواضيع مختلفة تتعلق بالاستماع النشط والقبول وحرية التعبير. وقد تم توضيح هذه المواضيع من خلال "عجلة الحياة" واستهدفت مفاهيم الزواج المبكر والتربية الجنسية ودور الوالدين.
